
Joel C. Clements, chairman, CEO and president of First State Bank in Waynesboro, announced that Darron Dodd has been promoted to senior vice president in Laurel.

Dodd is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. He is a past president and current board member of the Sertoma Club of Laurel. He also serves as the treasurer for Jones County Ducks Unlimited. Dodd has been a local T-ball coach for more than 20 years and is currently coaching a local soccer team.
Dodd and his wife Lindsay have two children Clark and Blair. They attend Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he serves as deacon.
